Position Overview

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll be working on our next-generation healthcare platform built with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js. This role involves developing and maintaining features across our entire stack, from database schema design to UI implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Next.js/Node.js services and React web apps
  • Build React Native mobile features
  • Design and implement long-running workflows with Temporal.io
  • Manage AWS infrastructure (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)
  • Own CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and IaC (Terraform or Pulumi)
  • Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, Tailwind CSS, and Radix UI components
  • Implement and maintain robust authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following our established patterns
  • Collaborate with product, clinical, and compliance teams
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor peers
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs across the application stack

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of full-stack experience (Node.js, Next.js, React)
  • Experience with Temporal.io or similar workflow orchestration
  • AWS proficiency (compute, storage, networking, IAM)
  • Experience with React Native or equivalent mobile framework
  • DevOps skills: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform/Pulumi
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare/telemedicine background
  • Experience with HIPAA/PHI-safe development
  • Experience with tRPC, Prisma, or similar technologies
  • Experience with monorepo architectures and tools like Turborepo
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and component libraries like Radix UI
  • Experience with Docker containerization and container orchestration
  • Background in building real-time communication features
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Vitest, Playwright, or Jest

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: USD $45,000 – $65,000/year
  • Stipend: USD 150/month (home office, wellness, learning)
  • Paid Leave: 2 weeks (80 hrs) after 90 days on the team
